One of the most commonly asked questions that everyone asks is "What is your Top 10 movies of all time?". Here is where you can find mine. You will probably agree with none, but at least you get to know what my Top 10 are.
The best ending in movie history. The acting, music, and production are absolutely spectacular. The end just rips your heart out. It slaps you in the face and says "Wake up!". This dream land you are looking for isn't real. It's such a sad and depressing ending that no other movie can be compared to.
This movie got me into Taika Waititi. The set, costume design, and script are part of what makes it so good. It is WAY more than a dark comedy. I watched this movie expecting a funny dark comedy. I was not expecting the deep coming of age and themes of grief in this movie. Scarlett Johansson and Taika Waititi play their character beautifully.
The acting in this movie is stellar. Austin Butler plays his character so well. The looks, sound, and quality of this movie are also amazing.
I willingly watched this in theaters 4 times before it came out on streaming or to buy. The best ending to any trilogy out there. Chudwudi Iwuji plays the High Evolutionary amazingly. His character is an absolute menace and so scary. This movie is a lot more deep and saddening than the other two.
The characters in this movie are written and acted so well. In the beginning they are all at each other's throat wanting to kill each other. At the end they all become a family.
X-Men: First Class nails every single one of its characters. James Mcavoy does amazingly as Professor X. I will always and forever love this movie for its characters. I also love how it ties in with the Cuban Missile Crisis.
I am pretty sure I've lost a lot of you here. Especially if you haven't seen this movie. I remember walking into this movie with little expectations. I then walked out of that theater a changed man. All the characters especially the villains in this movie are written, acted, and animated so so well.
If you haven't been able to tell by now I love characters more than anything. Taron Egerton plays his character Eddie Edwards so well. He is so happy and upbeat all the time, and you cannot help but root for him.
Best of Jim Carrey's work. The ending will have you on the edge of your seat for so long. It's ruthless, great acting, and horrifying. I love how every once in a while it will cut to people watching the Truman Show. Making it more immersive and relatable. You feel like you are apart of the movie because of it. The very last scene of the guys trying to find the remote is just the icing on the cake.
This movie is so incredibly immersive. It shows you how Frank did all that he did and its set transports you back to the 1960s. The acting in this movie tops it all off giving you an amazing experience. The weird friendship between Frank and Carl is so fun.
